Frequently asked questions
Where does the data come from?
We aggregate data from 13 government APIs: Census Bureau (ACS), FBI (UCR crime data), FEMA (flood zones and disaster history), FHFA (home price index), Walk Score, HUD (fair market rent), BLS (employment and wages), IRS (income and migration), CFPB (mortgage data), FRED (interest rates), and EPA (environmental data).
How current is the data?
Property listing data is updated regularly. Government data (Census, FBI, BLS) typically reflects the most recent annual release, which is 1-2 years prior. Data freshness is disclosed in each report.
What if a ZIP code has no data?
We need at least 5 property records in a ZIP code to generate a meaningful report. If data is insufficient, we'll tell you before checkout — you won't be charged.
How do I get my report?
After purchase, you'll receive a PDF download link on the confirmation page and in your email. The link is valid for 30 days.
Can I get a refund?
We refund reports that are technically defective: blank or corrupted PDF, data for the wrong ZIP code, or a report that fails to generate after payment. Email [email protected] within 7 days of purchase with your order email and a description of the issue. We do not refund based on the number, severity, or subjective quality of the data — a report that accurately reflects a ZIP code's public data is a complete deliverable.
